There is a wide variety
of recreation programs available to the community. Lebanon is home
to the largest YMCA in the country, the Ralph J. Stolle Countryside
YMCA, that offers youth and adult programs year-round. Additionally,
the City of Lebanon maintains
an excellent network of athletic fields that are used by various
recreational sports organizations. These programs include an adult
softball league, sponsored by the YMCA, youth baseball and softball
that is organized through the Lebanon Baseball and Softball Association
(LBSA), several youth soccer organizations (LYSA), and youth football,
which is organized through the Lebanon Warrior Youth Football Association
(LWYFL). These programs offer recreation opportunities for thousands
of kids and adults each year.

Every year the Lebanon Parks and Recreation Committee sponsors the Red Hot Blues Run, held during the Blues Festival, to raise funds for improvements to the City’s Park System. This year, all money raised from this event will be used to help support the development of the proposed Cook Road Park. Currently, residential neighborhoods east of Bypass 48 do not have direct access to a City Park. This much needed park will serve in that capacity. Click on this link to view a diagram showing the proposed layout of the park.
