
The
Lebanon Division of Police is responsible for providing law enforcement
services for the City of Lebanon. The police division is divided
into two bureaus, Operations and Support. The Operations bureau
is responsible for the Patrol function
and the Investigations function.
The Support bureau is responsible for Communications,
Crime Prevention/Community Relations
and Records.
The Lebanon Division of Police serves 11.8 squares miles and 20,535 citizens with 29 sworn police officers and 9 dispatchers with a
strong sense of pride and commitment to the mission
of the police division. All employees have voice
mail and e-mail so that
the public may contact them easily.
The Lebanon Division of Police is an accredited police department
through the Commission
on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies,
Inc. Lebanon was first accredited in 1986 and was the 11th police
agency accredited in the United States.
