Small Claims Court

To file a small claims action in the Lebanon Municipal Court, the incident in dispute must have occurred in the city of Lebanon or Turtle Creek Township or the defendant must live in the city of Lebanon or Turtle Creek Township. The monetary limit for small claims is $3000.00. You may sue for money only. For amounts over $3000.00, for claims for property damage, contracts, evictions and other civil actions, cases must be filed in the Civil Division of this court. To file a Small Claims action, you must fill out a form at the Clerk's office. This form will require a correct mailing address for the defendant. Filing fee is $45.00. At the time of filing, you will be given a court date which will be approximately 6 weeks from the date filing.

Small Claims hearings are held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
